Independent Program
Overview
Our Supported Independent Program provides youth aged 17 and older with the opportunity to experience safe, semi-independent living as they prepare to transition out of care.
This program is ideal for youth seeking continuity, support, and guidance as they move toward adulthood. Based in an apartment setting, the program mirrors real-world independence while still offering consistent mentorship and connection.
We meet each young adult where they are at and help them build the confidence and skills to thrive after their launch from Betamarsh's care.
Youth in this program receive:
Individualized guidance and mentorship
Hands-on life skill development (budgeting, cooking, scheduling, etc.)
Support with education, employment, and housing goals
Coaching in responsibility, accountability, and cooperation
Their own living space.
